Words and Silence

Popular belief is that only the spoken Words are heard but if you really want to increase the effectiveness of your voice then Silence is the most powerful tool..!! As Margaret Weis rightfully says “Words can never fully say what we want them to say, for they fumble, stammer, and break the best porcelain. The best one can hope for is to find along the way someone to share the path, content to walk in silence, for the heart communes best when it does not try to speak.” More often we expect from the ones who matter to us a lot, to say it in Words what they mean to say just because we want to "hear" them for we believe that these words transform to feelings but in reality it is the profound enigmatic Silence in the company of true love and concern that evokes in us the feelings we so much yearn for. Only after one has used words as a medium and experienced it's limited power is one truly ready to experience and appreciate the unlimited power of silence. It takes a lo...

Trust

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in the strength of its bond. The base premise of every relation is trust. Its easy to begin with trust but maintaining it at the same wavelength calls in for a lot of understanding, daunting unwavering will, continual transparency and  unconditional belief. When someone with whom you  connect and forge a relation gives you his/her trust,  and you accept it, then it is your sacred duty to  preserve the sanctity of the relation by not breaking  the trust. Again, trust is not a single lane; its a  highway and needs to be felt and maintained either  side.  Be wary of whom you choose. Its a melee of people out there and not everyone are genuine. Sift the real from the fraudulent. Some fake people get into a relation and win your trust not because they are fond of you or value you; its just that they are curious to know more ab...

At what point is enough, enough?!

To the extent to which a man is rational, life is the premise directing his actions. To the extent to which he is irrational, the premise directing his actions is death. ~ Ayn Rand Gone are the days of bliss of us being young and innocent; where we day dreamed of life without pain, without fear, without loss. With the growing years, we transformed to become individuals who we are today but in its true essence we are a far cry, a distinct identity of our former younger self. Sometimes it's tiring to be always strong in this game called life. One might conceal it by masking it externally but what about the lava erupting within you? Somewhere, the limits need to be drawn. Was the transformation a must? YES. That's the rule of the realm we live in but how much of change should we allow to permeate within us? Agreed, change is the only constant in all our lives but changing our individuality to adapt to it constantly is not a way to handle change. We have to put on a period of ...

I CAN

Ralph Martson, once said "Just imagine the incredible power of being able to say "I can" when everyone else is saying I can't.'" How true is this? Have you felt a whole new world opening for you the moment you "I can". Your confidence with soar high your spirits, your mind will explore the uninitiated and you'll have plethora of options before your eyes to take your pick on how you want to deal with the challenge or task. CONFIDENCE SELLS and it has amazing contagious power. People believe in those who believe in themselves. No one wants to be stuck in a room with other people who feel like they don't deserve to be there. Stop wondering if you're good enough. Know you are, and behave accordingly. Put in your best always. Pluck out the weeds from your road to achievement and pause, assimilate before taking critical decisions. Rushing into any situation is highly detrimental, so avoid it as much as you can. It will be an exact...

Living Life Realistically...

As Melody Rose says " The important people in our lives leave  imprints. They may stay or go in the physical realm, but  they are always there in your heart, because they helped  form your heart. There’s no getting over that. " How true is it..?! If you introspect your own life, you'll  realise that just a handful people actually fall in the  afore mentioned cadre but if you look at your friend's list  in FB or for that matter any social networking site they  would be anywhere close to 250+ on an average. Do you really  know all of them in depths? So which statictics are true? I  would say, instead of going by the statistics which is just  a random count of numbers based on some absurd formula as a  base; it is better to follow your gut instincts though at  times serendipity just about manages to throw in the  surprise bloomers which act as warm respite.  As you age, you'll come to realize that pleasing...

Known Unknown

Life's journey is made of many sojourns. While some are big, some are small. This journey is accomplished with many people who come across as travelers in our lives but some last life long. As we grow, we know we need more of such real lasting ones to make our journey more meaningful as life when lived alone often leads to sadness, loneliness and melancholy but when lived in the company of anam cara's often turns out to be joyous as happy times get multiplied and testing times are divided and feel less harsh. What happens when suddenly in your life, you feel as if you've been hit by a whirlwind and someone known feels like an unknown ..?? No matter what you cannot relate with that person now the way you did earlier. Life comes to a standstill momentarily till you're able to collect yourself and figure out what went wrong in the relation. How did it turn sour? How did the bridges turn into gaps and further into chasms? How come you never saw the storm coming and ...

Journey of Life with I

Sometimes life writes stories that nobody could imagine. Years back, I set on a quest to find out my calling in life. That further led to defining the "I" in me. Till  then, I used to always say to the people around me that I am  destiny's favorite child, thanks to the trials n'  tribulations I had to go through from a very young age. After a lot of soul searching and introspection; I now  define myself as under: This is ME rebel, thinker, realistic, passionate, emotional soul!! I AM a soul in search of her calling, a professional in pursuit of her goal, a heart seeking it's own realm n' pristine love, a child-woman yearning to break FREE..!! Will I ever get to be all of it or is it just a fragment  of my wild imagination where I am demanding too much  life..?? How often and for how long has such similar  thought crossed your mind..?? I am certain, I am not the  lone one longing for such simplicity from life tha...
